Back In The Saddle for their fourth appearance at An Under Cover Weekend, Via Dove are Livin’ On The Edge and performing as “the Bad Boys from Boston” with their take on Aerosmith for AUCW6 Night 2, on September 8th, 2012.
Lightning Strikes more than twice for this rock ‘n’ roll trio — four times, to be exact — as they Get A Grip on Aerosmith’s Crazy riffage, which sometimes seems almost as if it is A Little South Of Sanity. Comprised of Reid Burnett on drums, Aaron Vaught on guitar, and Andy Shadburne on vocals, and featuring Jimmy Vavak (x-Riddle of Steel) on bass, and Jordan Heimburger (Street Fighting Band / The Feed) and Michael Tomko (x-Gentleman Auction House) on guitar, this sextet is poised to Let The Music Do The Talking in a big way to close out Night Two.
Known for having the Magic Touch and doing What It Takes to pay homage to some of the most revered megastars of rock ‘n’ roll — with their much heralded set for AUCW3 as The Rolling Stones, which has ultimately become Street Fighting Band: A Tribute To The Rolling Stones, or their epic performance at AUCW4 as Pearl Jam, or even more so for their monster take on ACDC at AUCW5 — Via Dove is certainly a capstone to this already incredible Line UP. Shame On You if you end up missing this epic set/show, because I don’t know about you, but I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.
Stop Messin’ Around, Get The Lead Out, and get your tickets already — you’ll thank me later.
And with that, we conclude the leaks for An Under Cover Weekend 6! I think that I speak for all of us when I say that we couldn’t be more proud of, and excited about, this lineup and we can guarantee you the best time you’ll have all year. In celebration, the boys of Via Dove would like to invite you to click the cover below and download a free copy of their most recent album, ‘El Mundo Latino‘. Keep checking back for more exclusive AUCW goodness and we’ll see you on the 7th and 8th!
P.S. In the last two years, Bryan Sutter and Jason Stoff have made enormous contributions to AUCW’s identity, and we truly would not be where we are today without them. They took a silly little idea and they have turned it into the incredible photo collection that has accompanied all of these posts. I strongly suggest that you inquire with them about anything that you need to have photographed, especially if there are guitars and crazy lights. Heck, maybe you should take them for a drink to The Thaxton Speakeasy to discuss? Sounds like a good idea to me.← Previous Post Next Post →
